3 rotors are typically more stout than their 2 rotor counterparts. Probably the Balance of power. But they definitely tend to last a lot longer....

until you blow the damn seals on it or blow the engine up entirely.

I was also lucky enough to get Mike in this clip to build me a 3 rotor for my sand car. A shame it was destroyed on its third trip out , I was side s wiped by another sand car and the motor was ripped out in the accident!
