dont get me wrong there is nothing like american muscle, but its just not worth it, espically for the amount of money it takes.

ha why do people always compair the zo6 corvette to the new v8. i mean yah they have v8s but the M3 has always competed with every thing with the good old stright 6. If they build this v8 like every other bmw engin it will get a good 250,000 to 300,000 miles out of it. what is the best a zo6 or any corvette could get 150,000 200,000 if you dont beat on it. For the money a bmw is cheaper, as good if not better... and has the longevity to make it sooooo much better.

To build some more anticipation for M enthusiasts:

The new M3 is seriously whooping some a** in Europe. It actually is so fast, it can out-accelerate an M5 up to 100 MPH and then the M5 pulls harder than the M3 after that.

A comparison done with the C6 Corvette (non-Z06) and Audi R8 proved the M3 actually runs faster than both around a race track. Has a 71 mph slalom speed. It was also fastest from 0 - 200 KM/H.

The M3 was also dynoéd by a European magazine and it is severely underrated. It dynoéd at 375 WHP (which means, it is putting out 440 - 450 HP at the crank considering a typical 15 - 17% RWD loss). They compared it to the RS4 and the parasitic loss of AWD made the RS4 dyno only at 328 WHP. M3 also weighs 200 lbs less than the RS4.

What could really touch this car once it has been modified nothing that the average jo can afford. lol

Since it redlines at 8400 then that leaves room for a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig turbo to start spooling at about 6 to 7000 rpms. Just imagine this car on boost how lovely it would sound......ummmm i got it ....... ilike........ like ...... like ....sex lol

and also reminds you of how you cannot dream of affording a better car than a Geo Metro. ROFL.
