Yeah this isn't street legal. Most simple aftermarket air intakes aren't legal, so I doubt a 7 sec viper is legal. But I don't doubt that it is street driveable.

he can simply take off the chute and the slicks and put some street tires and drive it like a normal car not that hard

the tire only has to have a small line on it to make it legal, i have a set of street legal slicks on my camaro
