Anyway kid you need to realize every car has its pros and cons. We all know the pros and CONS of a rotary engine and for some people its worth the reliability issues to drive a rotary powered car! The Supra? powerband? take 2 cars same power rating, same weight and other factors like transmition. one car is a Supra (400hp, 500hp, 600hp w.e.) and the other car is car X. %75 of the time car X wins! Why? power band my friend. American cars suck and imports are so great right? okay so I have some money to spend on a nice car for myself to use as a daily driver. I want something fast but reliable, stock, and with a full warranty! How many American cars in NA can I buy that run 12s or faster? I can think of many. SRT8s, Cobras etc. 11s? Viper, Z06. Hell even the fastest 4 banger in NA is an SRT4... an American based 4 cylinder!!! Now how many imports can I buy in NA that run 11s? keep in mind I'm talking stock with warranty because I'm an older mature driver who needs a nice car for work and has the money to spend on a nice car for a daily driver. Now lets say on the other hand I want to build a cheap light weight track car. I don't car about stock and I don't car about warranty. Then whats wrong with a Civic or RWD import like a 240 SX? Mebbe an autox car like a Miata? See the pros and cons? see that everycar has a place? yes its called being open minded. Sure I understand the issues of a rotary engine... sure I would LOVE to have a nice turbo FC. I personally love FCs and I love many Japanese cars from the late 80s/early 90s. These days there are more Eurocars worth drooling over too. What about Domestic powered Euro cars? There are many. Holden or Vauxhall Monaros for example. That car gets rave reviews in the UK. Anyway point is you guys that run around "Imports Suck" or "Domestics suck" are all both immature and ignorant.

umm last time I checked (if all you care about is speed and drag racing) the American V8 was still powering the fastests cars in the world. Top Fuel Dragsters and funny cars in the 4s! Displacement wins its simple. BUT I wrote my post for Zooyork (and his post got deleted) I wasn't saying that to everyone for no reason!!! If you read it you will see I like imports also. Americans can't build real cars?? Last time I checked the Europeon Sportscar of the year was the Chevy Corvette Z06!

Thats funny, how come they finally let american cars run with the pro imports. Everyone complained it wasn't fair, runnning big 7 liter V8 compared to 1.3 liter rotaries and 2.6 liter supras. Guess what, the american cars got destoyed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA HA Its too bad you wasted all that time to write that comment and made yourself look like a stupid moron. Imports will always win. Why do american car makers follow import styles and trends? Oh thats right, americans can't build real cars!
