Transamenthus: 302 is not garbage. Anyone with ANY knowledge of chevy's, camaro's, or the smallblock know that they used those engines to compete in the trans am series where they would put out around 550 hp. What you are talking about is their lack of low end torque. Granted, they won't make power at 5 grand or below, but anyone that calls a 302 garbage doesn't have the knowledge to GEAR accordingly. Put a 4.56 gear in the back, and that camaro would haul like a raped ape.
