BTW the more power you pump outta a turbo motor the more exhaust you need to reduce back pressure. there are 4cyl turbo cars with 4in pushing probably 800 . this car is twin turbo 3.8L so it's probably twin 3in outlets into a 4inch exhaust. i think i've seen single turbo 3L supras with bigger. you just lose a little low-end for top-end. and sorry tunerlover3, its already been said nissan made a weak trans, they admited to having run out of money when the trans was being designed. hence removing launch control for the next model year. 0-60 in 4.1

Yea 4" is definately overkill. Big diesel truck engines need these not a little v6 like this. With an exhaust this wide, velocity probably went wayway down, reducing torque. May increase hp but 4inches is just overkill.

The only reason people are having to replace the transmission is because they abuse the launch control. Just because you have it doe not mean you should use it every bloody launch.
