I was speaking in regards to the other gentleman, but I agree, might not be a 10 second car in it's current setup, but being a built car, I could see it running more boost and stepping foot at least in the high 10's.

I was talking specifically bottom end yes the cobras are hand built but SVT used the same bottom end on the 96-01 and puts the cylinder heads on i could convert mine to a dohc but i dont want to and if you could find anywhere i said that civic was a ricer be my guest cause i said no such thing yes i give it props for beating the cobra but i dont think its a 10 second car judging by the video here now if i see one of it at a track running 10's it would be different instead of a couple of high skateboarder dudes taping it it from behind. if they had an in car it would have been better

The only difference is the plastic oil gears? How about completely different heads......SOHC vs. DOHC and the fact that the DOHC Modulars in the Cobra were hand-built? There's a lot more differences than you stated. I know these things are quick, Like I stated earlier, I have friends with Cobras. One friend in particular, who has videos on streetfire (FlowGoode) has a 96 Cobra with a bolt on Supercharger than ran 11's all day, until he blew a head gasket. He is now rebuilding for more boost.
