we should all also note that the R34 skylines only put out 280hp and 293lb-ft of torque. It would be a different story if you threw a R32 skyline in there with the nsx-r. Also look at the wieght of both cars Nsx-r = 2800 lbs Skyline GTR r34 = 3395 lbs.

Princeoftoyota.......um no..thats not how vtec works. vtec hits at ~3.5k rpm...cant even tell you how much a honda setup bogs down from 0-20..its ridiculous. after 20, itll get quick..but yeah the supra beats the nsx in 0-60. do your research on it. they get the exact same quarter..just because the vtec will do better past 70. high horsepower and practically no torque (nsx) is designed for high end. the supra is designed for a pretty even powerband all throughout the rpm range..and it was 35k less. Buy a sup and mod it and itll waste that nsx easy

actually supras are more of a higher rpm car...hondas with vtec (nsx has vtec in it for those of u who ddint kno) are more known for there take off but do some of them do poor at keeping up...do a 40-70 roll with a supra and it will beat u

Its a matter of spend the money and buy somethin worth it (supra) lol .. it wuld kill botha these things if they were all stock..INCLUDING THE NSX. Stock supra gets better 0-60 but exact same quarter as the NSX .. yeah and the supra was a lot cheaper

the question is the matter of reactiontime of the start...
if you watch it carefully in the beginning the NSX-R was faster response than the driver of the R34

I don't understand how the skyline didn't get the lead off the line. I know the nsx has a lot of weight over the back, but still. If you watch the video closely, it looks like the honda even jumped a bit at the start. Oh well, both are very nice.
