Love the drama in these comments. i have yet to see an evo 9 go for $30k but i have seen C5 Z06s go for less than $25k with pretty low miles. At the end of the day though, the vette wins with looks and of course, power. LS-series FTW!!!

4G63AllDay- I'm telling you if you go onto Autotrader.com and do a nation wide search for EVO 9 you will find that Dealerships are asking around that price. Are you affraid to know the truth? So what about the economy. People that drive higher end cars such as EVO's and STi's and even Z06's (mid class higher end cars)havent been affected nearly as bad by the failing economy as you think. I'm sorry if you have but seriously, I havent been hurt too much by it. So what if you find plenty of EVO 9's for around $25K-$27K the same can be said for the C5 Z06. I've seen a C5 Z06 with 110K on the odometer for sale for $14K. The point was that my Z06 is certified preowned with super low miles and a 5 year warranty and it cost $34K out the door. If you were to buy a "COMPRABLE" EVO 9 it runs around $30K-$32K at a dealership, FACT! Do the research, educate yourself to the ACTUAL cost of these cars. Who cares what the cost of an EVO 8 is? Thats not whats in this video, is it? Its easy to be a biased import guy but instead of being so biased look at the big picture, educate yourself, and figure out that it doesnt matter where the car came from or whats under the hood, FAST IS FAST plain and simple. You can say whatever you want about American cars and its easy to be ignorant and biased but "LOOK IT UP" C5 Z06's and EVO 9's cost about the same across the internet anywhere you look! THATS MY POINT!! And in these races that Evo was not stock running 400 HP and the Corvette was. Now who has more money invested? And of course the EVO would take the win on these although I think the Vette pretty well had the second run but still of course the EVO would win. There's that AWD that comes in handy in a straight line drag. If the race would have been from a roll though, sorry the Vette would have taken it.
