People really need to stop with this rotaries are unreliable. I've been working on rotaries for YEARS now. And they arent any less reliable than any other piston motor. I will admit that it doest take a lot more maintanence, but it dowsnt make it less reliable. Ive owned many 100,000+ mile rotaries that were 100% stock and they never gave on me. Not to mention my uncle in PR has an 82 with 176,000+ miles on it 100% stock. Never been rebuilt. It's had a few engine gaskets replaced, you have to do the same for pistons motors after a while too. realize, rotaries are a lot harder to tune than a piston engine. So when you have people who either dont know wtf they're doing, or even worse THINK they know what they're doing...well thats when things blow up....Cant help but remember abot some idiot i saw on streetfire (one of many) that was planning to put a 2JZ in an RX7 because he "fully built" the 13rew and it only pushed 450hp.....I hope i can one day meet this moron so i can beat him to death...on a 100% stock engine, just an upgraded turbo i pushed over 500 at the wheels. Heck on the stock turbo i put down almost 400...Stock hating on rotaries people. Ive worked on everything from a mountain 851ci motor to a tiny as 1.1L 12A. every engine has its benifits and its disadvantages.

even w/ 4 rotors it still weighs almost half as much as an lt1 motor.

Wow u take a german design and sell it to the japanese and d**n they make i t way better. That thing is awesome. But Rotor engines have never been rel iable for example when they first came out the seals went bad very quick a nd they smoked

i bow down.. 4 rotors, 9000+ rpm all day... cant go wrong there and you gai n reliablity from more rotors... 3 rotor is more reliable than the 2 that we get over here..

You can't buy it, you have to build it.
And the Scoot 4-rotor is only 2.4L, it was built off the 12A engine, not the 13B.
