the Revup Z will run a high 13 stock. But an older 350Z stock will not run 13s in the 1/4. Something will have to be modded on it to get to that low of an ET. My Altima would run low 14s when im not running the 20s.

I don't know where you got ur facts James76 but let me tell you some times from my personal runs...a Z 03-04 runs low 14's to high 13's stock 05-06 Z run high 13's all day and vq35hr run mid to high 13's all of which are stick...I run all motor high 13's with the mods I have and high 12's to low 13's with a 55 shot..I've NEVER seen the newer Z run 13.2 bone stock..on the road or at the track..i'd like to see that ,but I talk from the Z's I've raced b4..don't get me wrong tho..I like the Z...(my next car) but when I raced the HR Z all motor he got me by 1.5 to 2 car lengths...I know for damn sure that is not 13.2...(0-100)

sublat you run high 13s and you are trying to say a Z couldn't catch you? you are a ware that a stock auto Z runs high 13s right? the stick runs mid 13s, the 07 to 08 Z run 13.2s bone stock to the wheels all he time. your car is cool but come on.

I know this thread died long ago..but..over the comment of "Maximas are slow"...I'd like to see a Z get me..I drive a 05 Maxima. All motor run high 13's on street tires..and I have more mods..hehe...BUT I really like the Zs so not trying to hate(someone was just talking shyt on maximas)

Pretty pathetic for the Z considering that the Altima is a lower level family car, and the Z is supposed to be nissan's racier car. I have an altima myself, and I don't consider it fast, but I tought it would be WAY slower than a Z...........

love both cars...but i have to go with the 350Z.

not really a nissan fan, but obviously the altima was not stock, cause i know that the 350z is one of nissans best cars

So I guess the Altima Coupe that Motor Trend tested had NOS too? Cause the Coupe is only 63lbs lighter than the sedan. That won't get you much further down the track.

sorry dexion you gonna have to get me a video that shows a stock altima running a 14.2. i think he has a sneeky peek nos bottle that you dont know about. there is no way that car is running that. and dont tell me to do some research before posting cause i am at the track every friday and see what they are running. so dont believe it every time someone says their car is stock casue you just dont know what they have hiding in thier trunk

Titanman4evr, sorry but you are WRONG! I personally know someone on the nissanclub forum that has a stock 2007 6-speed Altima who's best run was 14.2@100mph. The 4th gen Altima won't need much at all to get into the 13's Motor trend got 14.2@101mph for the coupe so you need to do some research before posting such nonsense.
