The 5 series bodywork is very strong, yet it absorbs energy quite well.
4-star safty or not, still feel very safe in this car. The doors are heavy, the interiour feels solid and so on. It feels "serious".

They should post like an old car getitng crasehd, and compare it with the new one. You can see how they designed the front to crump and absorb the impact. Still, it looks painful.

Looks like most of the energy was obsorbed into the engine bay. Not bad.
