base models suck because there heavy and really slow most 4 cylinders can beat them

yeah, 161hp and 185tq... sounds more grumbly/meaner than dohc n/a but not q uite as fast... (low 15 sec vs. high 15 sec)

base model = 160 hp

Let me guess, this is the 1997 and up Base model? Suck, because the 96 and under base model had a DOHC producing 222HP and 205 lbs of torque. I belie ve the 97 and up had the diamante engine, making around 167HP or so.
