is this turbo running off exhaust or what?

I live across the street from the grandfather of one of the guys who built this. Believe it or not this thing acually does build boost Ive heard the turbo spool. remember this is a 2 stroke so it releases more exhaust ene rgy than a 4 stroke due to incomplete combustion iirc. the oiling was con verted to a self-contained system, if you dont understand that research th e newer prochargers.

There is no waste gate but that will only effect it once it hits boost. If there is no WG then the boost will increase to volumetric eff is met or t he effeciency range of the turbo is max or till the engine blows:). But i n this case there's not enough displacement to see boost.

Yeah its probably leaning out pushing gas out of the carb. The bo is WAY to o big, you'd probably have better luck encasing the gas tank and carb in a boost box and use a leaf blower. Pretty funny though
