what's funny is all the guys who played GT on PS2 and said wait until Godzilla comes to the US!LOL now it got here breaks and the ZR1 and Viper beat it on the ring. Where they all said it would destroy and US vehicle.I love all cars import or domestics. i hate noobs who have no clue and just post BS regarding and type of car. Mullet heads and ricers are what I'm talking about. Most folks are noobs and don't even believe Nissan was hurting like Chrysler and now is CONTROLLED by Renault. its a brand new car costing upwards of $100 000! you should be able to hit any switch and launch anyway u want while its stock and not break anything!

LOL.... i have never liked the new gtr. it to heavy and has way to many moving part under the car. all it goging to do is brake. if people who got one could not C that coming...then i hope they all brake......Just think what going to happen when you do some mods and add 100hp....

Obviously, somone needs to take there 09 mudding to see how this MDL (Mud Launch Control) works out for them. That way, if the tranny blows, you can prove you where stuck in mud.

Lol this is my last post but I agree with most people, nissan failed to make the trans strong enough to handle the high rev launches. I was just bsing to get people heated. dont get me wrong though, the trans is still good and can handle this lower reving launches but its sad that they over looked something so key as having a durable trans.

However you want to put it, they knew the car had launch control when the developed it, and it's really an insult to your intelligence when they say it's for escaping the snow or mud. On another note, if the GTR is a track car, why does it weigh so much? This is the main reason that I stick with the older sports cars. An AWD car wears the tires anyway, and the GTR couldn't make 5 laps of Tsukuba without completely destroying the tires. It's an epidemic with cars marketed in the US. We have to have all these airbags, and electronic this, electronic that. If you want a safe car, don't buy a sports car. I mean I'm not trying to overly bash the car, it does have its good points, I'd just much rather have the R33 or R34.

I call bullshit. Im a massive R35 fan but i agree with those that have said this is basically a cover up. Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porche all have launch control and they dont pretend it is to get out of the snow. Many Japanese tuning companies MAKE a electronic launch control for your car and dont pretend it is for the mud and snow. The fact of the matter is they failed at making a strong gear box. It isn't the end of the world.
