The Vette's a good car, but for the 10k price difference, there's alot you can do to mod the Shelby. Not to mention the Mustang is honestly a different class of car. The Corvette is built to be a sportscar, the Shelby is a musclecar with extra muscle, being based off a less performance-oriented platform. They both have their strengths and place. That place should be my driveway, but I'd personally pick the Shelby first.

holy brake dive batman... the GT500 just about did an endo! lol. an extra 100 hp and still more than 3 secs slower. GT500=fail.

This is why Clarkson liked the Roush over the GT500. GT500 really needs to get a better suspension underneath it.
