this is for 2361d0f9- your wanting to talk numbers w/turbos. well gm has a lsx block you can bild w/twin turbos that will produce 2000 horse power. the bottom line is ford f****d up years ago when it made a dual over cam set up there main power plant. in my book, they should have stuck to the push-rod engines like gm have.

buyamerica, also check out SVTBOOST regular GT500 and barely modded= nearly 800rwp/800rwtq w/ just few bolt-ons and that's also one reason I like about it even if it weigh's like a brick and the Lightning even weigh's more and I only got 695rwhp w/out N2O= 10.20-40 in 1/4 w/ few reliable bolt-ons= 1/4 mile Beast.(click on my profile to find out)

The fact is that the T bird out sell and out perform the Chevy and b/f they even build the production 6cyl. corvettes it was just a corvair, lol just kidding, but also it was known as for the ladies car b/c of its cute little shape. Okay as for bang for the buck the 08 Z06 could only perform a lateral of .97 G's compared to only $50K Roush 427R= 1.05 G's and its got only a 4.6L w/ S/C, so there is no need to cry about the S/C since Chevy even has a bigger 7L and that should be a fair match anyway, but I'm sure as always- life always have issues about little things that shouldn't even matter.. And w/ minor bolt-ons this would= to ~mid 11 sec.in the 1/4 so that's a pretty good deal in my book, but don't get me wrong I also have a Ron Fellows Ed. okay.....And there are so many high end edition mustangs to choose from and as far as of hp department I would always stick w/ fords b/c there are so many options available; such as Saleen S302E 620 hp s/c, Galpin's N/A 302 Stroker w/ 635 hp, Roush P-51B 510hp/510tq, the low 10 sec production Cobra Jet, and the list goes on... plus tons of supporting Ford Racing parts for upgrade purposes, and heck my old barely modded lightning that weigh's 4670 lbs. could even hit a low 10.sec in the 1/4 and yeah its only got the same size 5.4L motor, and sure the S/C was upgraded but hence that the size didin't grow into a 7L motor.

You can't come close in the bang for the buck debate. Remember the ZO6 does not have a blower. The mustang started as the secretary's car and morphed into a muscle car. As the dude said, the ZO6 is a true sports car.Longone, the Ford GT was a supercar with a super price tag (150k) and you could of bought 3 vettes for that price when it was introduced. The ZRI could be viewed as a direct competitor and it will dominate at 50k less in price.

LONGGONE, did you know that a barely modded GT500 can out put nearly 800rwhp and 780rwtq and w/ updated suspension from Roush, or w/ FR500's race spec.- would definitely make your ZR1 look stupid? or did you know that the Ford GT is also capable of 1600hp w/ Heffner's TT set-up and w/ Stillin suspension will double the ZR1 G's through the corner.., or did you know that a barely modded 5.4L Lightning truck w/ only 695rwhp and weigh's 4670lbs could dial in @ 10.20-40 in 1/4 mile? its funny b/c even a barely modded brick can out run your ZR1 in the 1/4, and that won't even a good match up b/c of weight and mustang dyno for stock ZR1 is only 505 rwhp/490rwtq, it might needed a KB swap in order to run 10's in 1/4...and I'm sure the newly production low 10sec. yea corvette won. however the ford gt was meant to be the corvettes rival not the mustang. mustang is still a 4 seater. wrong class dude. compare it to the camaro/challengers that come out, the ford gt has to take care of the vette...and the zr1 makes the ford gt look stupid... z06 and ford gt is a good matchup
