I'm glad you responded. I hate to burst your bubble but this is isn't a stunt, it's a wheelie. All you need is a regularold street bike to do what your doing trust. About your rear brake, well your going way to fast for it to be effective. Your unstable because you have to much air pressure in the rear tire, let out about 5psi from the stock setting which is about 32psi. This will stop the tail from shaking all over the place. I'm sure your in 2nd gear which is fine, but slow it down to about 45 or 50MPH, get it to the sweet spot fast by clutching it up, no bounce you will pick up too much speed, clutch it up at 50 in 2nd and really foucus on your throttle control, thats the trick to a smooth wheelie. Make sure your are confortable on the bike at launch or right after and you should have no proble going a mile and a half or even two miles if you keep in under 55MPH. Cars should be passing you, or better yet you should be looking into there windows and be seeing there jaws dropping.

very true, running a quality synthetic is a must. I will add I put over 5000 miles on my 02 gixxer doing wheelies like this. I have even heard of people extending the pick up tube to prevent oil starvation.

Very true a323434f, I will say this the first time I went down doing a wheelie was when my right side rear set snapped as I was attempting to do what the stunting world calls a nack nack. Down I went, I was doing around 50 or 60. Slid for about 50 yards, hopped up picked my bike up popped it into gear and off I went. Helmet, yes thats why Im telling you this story....lol. I dont ride anymore, only my barstool racer to the mail box with my daughter sitting on my lap.

Let me say this. Not all us bikes are this stupid or thoughtless. But I know the type. I work at a shop as a tech and you can't tell these people anything. In one ear and out the other. 2 weeks later crash estimate. Thats my experiance and lots of the time you never see them again.
