The v6 stang is a truck engine with 0 refinement. Just put in the new s197 chassis. The Gt's 3V is a much better car engine combo.I have not seen a stock Si beat a stock Gt but regardless I like the new Si Civics and I dig all mustangs. Nice kill

I would have to see to believe. I've been there and done that with both of these cars repeatedly and the outcome is usually the same. There are those that clearly can't drive and I'm ruling those out. Maybe your run in with the 07 was driver error. I ran an 04 GT that shot flames out the back as he surged out a car and a half on me, but I reeled him in like a trout going into third while he was still WOT. The new civics don't even require a down shift if my RPMs are even starting to approach the cam. So let's see it brother.

08fg2si I do believe you are wrong. I torched an si on some back roads while holding a drink in my right hand (I drive a stick). Conversely I gained only ever slightly on a highway pull with a new GT (paper plates so I doubt much done if anything to it)

Stock civic si will beet 04 and under mustang gt's. With bolt ons and hondata can run pretty well with a new STOCK gt.
