Dude the ep3 si's are weak end of story, dont try to make excuses for them. The kid in the 06 si couldnt drive to save his life, thats why you see the outcome you do.

also, he doesnt have 220 hp. probably about 185 at the wheels plus hes almost 2900 lbs compared to ur 24

idk from my understanding a ep3 has a k20a3 same motor as the base 02-05 base rsx. Now I believe than a stock for stock fg2 will beat a ep3 stock for stock. If they r modified thats different. A k20z3 puts out more power and more tq than a ep3. A good race would be a base rsx vs an ep3. Or a type s vs 06-08 si. I dont think they the kid in the SI was trying to hard. The new si should of beaten the ep3 if the ep3 is stock and the si was at WOT.

The sad part here is that we both work for a honda dealer in our respective cities, and you can't even tell if it is an 06 si. Im sorry but no 06 ex civic is going to be even close to a stock ep3 no day of the week. Look through your line up again and then comment on here and tell us something intelligent.

You know you are really not that bright now are you. I have taken a stock 2001 roush stage one with my ep3 si with cold air intake, header, and cat back exhaust. I will race you any day of the week.

Ok then buddy I have an 03 civic si ep3, I can beat 06 si's without too much difficulty. The reason the K20a3 which is what the ep3 has is weaker than the k20a2 is due to only having one v-tec cam which is on the intake side only. The k20a2 has two v-tec cams as well as your wonderful z3 even though 197 is less than what the 06 type s has with the z1 engine. You should understand that I am a technician for a honda dealer so try not to argue too hard with people who know their stuff.

Oh and BTW the is no difference between the 03'and 04' models.

04 GT running 14.8? What is that a auto! I ran a 03 GT 5spd 100% stock and i have only a intake. He ran a 14.01 and i ran a 13.92. I ve seen auto's run 14.7's. So props to you for beating auto from probally a roll because you SI cant run from a dig efficiently.
