BigJon should just change his name to "NeonDefender". I commented on a srt-4 in another video and he chimed in to defend it. Talk about anal sensitivity towards a car, and an ugly one at that. If its not your car, why get so defensive?

ok ive watched this video like 5 times trying to figure out whats wrong with these races and in the first race it sounds like the evo was shifting early (u have to really listen cause the cobra is loud)...

The second race the evo didnt even use the launch control because w/ a tbe you can really hear the launch control on an evo... to me it sounded like he was revving low which caused him to bog the launch and if he was shifting the way he was in the first race then thats obviously why the srt and the cobra pulled him like he wasnt even moving...

The third race it seemed like the evo got a decent launch still cant tell if he used the 2 step or not but the srt was pulling him in... not sure how the shifting was cause once they pulled by the cobra drowned all the sound out frm the other cars...

The fourth race was the same as the others the evo didnt use launch control and the srt stayed with the evo and then pulled...

Im not trying to start another evo vs srt arguement im just stating what i noticed from the video i consider myself a car enthusiast and im not biased towards any car... ill give the credit where the credit is due and that is obviously to the srt-4 driver but i think if they put a better driver in the evo it would defenitly be a better race not saying the evo would win but just saying it would be closer


P.S i think annihilator proved his point about the clamed drag times that the evo driver made... i defenately think this evo COULD run a 12.7 though... but just not with that guy driving it...

That evo driver was TERRIBLE. I ran 13.4 @ 103 in a STOCK evo at 11000 feet DA, with just a TBE and tune on an evo you should be running 12.6-12.7 @ 108-109 at sea level.

wowww.......... all wheel drive cars are not highway cars. use what u have(launch cuz other cars have traction problems) ive had a pretty decent modded mk3 supra and now have a neon.... on the highway i kill stock turbo STI, and EVOs.. from a dig, tottaly different story.

Funny I was a mustang lover for um.......10 years before I bought my srt-4. I know physics that applies to every car.
