ive heard of them being in the 12.9-13.1 range stock but thats with a very,very,very good driver. its very hard to launch them and there 60 suffers bad from it. mustangs on the other hand launch hard and get there power down low, at least the 3v do anyway, so yes mustang ftw in the1/8 and gto ftw in the1/4

I beat a 05 GTO last month in the 1/4, I ran 13.21 and he ran 13.39. He was running 13.3 - 13.5 all morning long I am not that impressed with them, they sound Nice though with SLP's

Um...intake and exhaust let a GTO run 12.4's? On what planet? Maybe with some radials/slicks, and a tune, but not just with intake/exhaust.

Yeah but the GTO has a 1.4L advantage and is a more expensive car than a mustang GT. So it was a pretty fair race IMO.

9.3 in the 1/8th someone needs to teach the driver of the GTO how to drive. In my stock 00 LS1 TA 6speed. I was cutting 8.9 1/8th's. Running alot faster now. Seen LS2 GTO with intake and exhaust run 12.4's in the quarter. GTO driver just needs to learn his car.

race a full quarter next time, the GTOs IRS kills its 60'. The Goats LS2 really shines in the top end.

I couldn't see who won, but whether the GTO, or the Stang lost, it was a good run. The "Would have, could have, should have" people need to realize how to lose sometimes. Everyone is going to get beat here and there. Good run though, 2k05GT.

i think my dog could drive the GTO better.

it was a close race but GTO had all that weight to pull thumbs up for both cars

FYI the mustang was an auto and a GTO is more expensive it was a good kill.
