I hate to burst your bubble there dailycruzr, but I was the owner of that GTO and can GUARANTEE you that they did make 2005 LS2 GTOs in 2005. For Christs' Sake look at the other videos and you can clearly tell that its a 2005!

f-body LS1's were really under rated and really restricted from the factory, thats why they except boltons so well and make awesome power after. The passenger in the GTO must have weighed 780 Lbs..Or the driver needed a serious mod.

A stock Mach makes 325hp at the crank (yes, they were underrated) so it's 75 hp disadvantage and 400 lbs advantage seem to equal out. Great vid!

I totally agree with you on the point of comfortability. When ever we go on trips we take my brother's 05 GTO. The back seats are like a 4 door car.

btw, GTOs are not a joke, My wife had a 2004 GTO for a while, it was unreal how comfortable it was to drive. It was silky smooth down the road, got 28mpg and ran 13s stock. I love ALL cars, but have never been impressed with how any Mustang has driven, even the 03/04 Cobras which I love.
