so what if you buy a car that cost 1200, and invest more money into it to make it fast, that makes a "best bang for the buck" car??? WRONG.
The 03 04 cobra, NEW cars, with 900 dollars in mods, WILL run mid to low 11's. If you can't drive, then thats a different story. Thats what people mean when they say the cobra is the best bang for the buck car.
They come with FORGED motors, so a simple blower swap will net you 600-700rwhp. wanna add turbo's?? sure why not. Buster from modfords is making 1000rwhp through a AUTOMATIC, stock motor with a single t88 turbo.
You can argue, all you want, but you cannot take away the cobra's respect for how little mods you need to make it run hard. they run 12's stock.
Also, stop with this oh, throw a supercharger on a ls1. ok well explain this then, the cobra is 30k + car, and the ls1 is a 9k + car, so you take the extra 21k put it in the motor, OR spend only 5k of it and get a S/C and the cobra is gonna be eatin Ls1 fumes. and if any of you say anything about the cobra being able to run more boost and stay together your RIGHT< BUT ! then you can just take the rest of your saved money and build a boost motor, and still blow the cobra away, yea the lightning is badass i love the truck, but the cobra is far from the best bang for the buck.
