Welding a diff is such a redneck thing to do. Get an LSD or a locker. If the current diff is messed up, try servicing it instead of welding the damn thing. Vehicles come with differentials for a reason. And if it's 2wd, it's still gonna SUCK offroad even with it welded. Time and money have been wasted here.

Thats odd, it should be able to take at least 2 big jumps before it bends in a way that you'll notice, an '89 took 4 and looked like a V after :p
