ponyduster,if you wanted a auto try zzperformance I bought a 4t65e-hd auto one of the best trans to run. in there gtp it holds 9 second passes... I hear that the 6 speeds are trash for high hp apps..I believe there is a video of a 500 hp ls1 in a fiero that blows trans to pieces...

v8 archies has the g6 swap kit but its like 5 grand.

Hey what trans are you using? Sounds like an auto. I need some advise on what tranny to use for my stick fiero that can handle a minimum of 500hp without losing it through the drive train or granading it. Im thinking of going with a 6 speed out of a g6 but if anyone knows a good one to use please let me know. Thanks.

Nice car, nice swap, I've been trying to get my paws on a Fiero Fastback for a while, as soon as I do it's either getting an LQ1 turbo'd, or a Northstar supercharged.
