The car has full interior so it appears to have no weight reduction. I have removed most everything else though, gutted the trunk, Vbrace, gas tank brace, skid plate, heat sheilds, lightweight battery, drain wsw fluid, every little bit helps. No light weight body parts though. All four wheels probably save close to 100#s off OEM by themselves. It's not a DD but I do take it on trips though with 18" wheels.

My you've done alot of lightening on that car, ALOT! A4 GTO's are 110-120 lbs heavier, as all automaitics are that have a stick counterpart. That makes your car 3830-3845 lbs with out you in it, then add driver and !!! how did you get rid of nearly 280 lbs man? I can see the back seats 25 lbs, passenger frt seat 60 lbs, spare and jack 35 lbs, light wheels in front 30 lbs, carbon hood 15 lbs, light battery 7 lbs, no V-brace 10 lbs, no skid plate, 17 lbs this is still not even close. The car is obvously not a DD or is it? Please give a list of goodies taken out beyond what I've listed. THX

No problem, I'm running 275/60/15's on my coupe...weight with driver is about 3,100 lbs.
My best 60' is right around 1.65... My torque boxes need to be welded up and I just redid some of my rear suspension with UPR stuff.... hopefully I'll be able to get closer to where you are...

Hard to believe a car that big can get such a quick 60' time with such skinny tires on the rear...good job!
