Right on : ) I was considering slicks v.s. drag radials for my T/A on the track, but I really like the pure street/real street class. I'm guessing for the races in this video had no time restrictions like pure/real street? Maybe its just a house rule, but our track has a 11.5s or higher restriction for that class...

Yup, pretty much, it's very similar, DOT tires, 93 octane pump gas, no wheelie bars, there's a 20 mile cruise, and this years was a 20 mile cruise through 50 stop lights in RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC, it bumped a lot of people out due to over heating

95% of them are Mickey Thompson Drag Radials, the same tire I run on my daily driven 400hp Mustang just a lot wider
