Mehrshadvr4 is correct. the gears are very looooooong. nelsons RPM gauge i believe went to 11k. it was in one of his videos he posted on youtube of a random startup or somehting. plus that was back when he had his idle set to like 5k lmao

they have dual cone synchros on 1st and 2nd gear. i think the reason for them going bad is really high gear ratio. this car traps 160mph on 3rd gear and 200pmh on 4th 5th should be close to 250 on this car. it's 5 speed reving to 9500rpm i think.

Awesome 3KGT VR4!!! I use to have a 92, and also lost 2nd gear. The syncros are horrid, need to have either dual or triple cone synchros, but 6 years is a good run on the tranny! Was it a 5 or 6 speed?

1300awhp 3000gt drag racing. the 2nd gear finaly gave up after 6 years of racing.
