I run NGK's 4306's (.030) in the car, but over time they wear out!!! Electrode, erosion is why, once it wears down, the gap becomes to big, hense spark blowout!!!


I've raced that white Ls1, plenty of times, it's my buddy Dan's car. I was in the passenger seat filming. :)

ohh yea and the civic is a lil bit better daily driver.. gas mileage
 
Ya gotta look at a few things: first, bang for the buck performance. What car offers the most right outta the gate for the least amount of money? Two, potential. Does the car have a laundry list of parts available for it that are cheap (i.e. 5.0 mustang, lt/ls1 f-body, dsm)? Three, driveability. Yeah, your car may push 800 whp on the dyno and run 10s at the track but how driveable is it all day? Unless ur building a race car (but were talking about street cars, so that's not the case), you can't drive around town on 100+ octane race fuel, slicks, open exhaust, etc. So when it comes to what is better, American V8's or Import L4's/V6's, its not as simple as ricers and flamers make it seem. I personally see the most potential for the least amount of money in: LT1 F-bodies, 5.0 Stangs, DSMs, Mk3 Supras, and Civics (although I will never rock a FWD, much less a Civic :)
