Yeah, but the launch control on the SS/tc's actually slow it down a LOT, almost a full 1/2 second to be exact. A real driver doesn't use it because they know it doesn't work.

i have the cobalt! the ion in this vid has a speacialy built supercharger ony 17 or some crap made, the ion is also completely gutted. my car still has its spare in the trunk and i had a 285lb passanger who tapes all the vids. 16 lbs of boost?????

Those new 09 bolts are fast, they will run high 12's with just a few easy cheap mods. To bad they have really cheap ass plastic interior though, that kills it

A stock 2008-09 SS\TC will beat a mildy modded stg 1 SC\ion SS\SC.. That ION had to be heavily modded or have at least a strong tune with a GM stg 3 kit on it to pull on a tuned new SS\TC ... Must be a crappy tune ... BTW: Those SRT8 Challengers are a joke, same for the new Camaro SS.....

oh, wow people are still posting about this video.... well the ion is my car, i know the exhaust doesnt sound the greatest. how many 4bangers do. No i just have a few bolts on's its "heavly moded" it didnt take much to wake my car up and there are still lots of thing i can do to make it faster but i am happy with it. you cant never be the fastest. That Cobalt is fast and very impressive. The pulley is a ZZP 2.8 making 16 1/2 PSI
