bull shit i was at the track and those vetts do not hit 12s more like 11s to me. It ran the new skyline and it ran a 11.6 @ 133 the skyline ran a 11.8 @ 126 so thats bull.

I must admit I am a bit suspicious of this video. Once you get up to these horsepower levels the 100HP difference isn’t going to be as substantial as say a 300HP VS a 200HP car would romp the other, assuming weight is close to the same. And speaking of weight the Viper weights approximately 300LBS. more then the Zo6, so I am really suspicious of how in the world the Viper was able to outbreak a Zo6??? It seems a little questionable to me.

sorry vipergts1. but ls7s can make 700+ hp n/a. theres a guy in my town that specializes in ls motors. and he has a 700 hp n/a streetable vette and he gets 20 mpg. vipers are nice dont get me wrong but dont underestimate the ls motors.

it's funny how neither car in the history of this rivalry has never DOMINATED the other... it seems like a "anything you can do i can do better" fued. but at the end of the day, there is no replacement for displacement. 1.4 liters more and two more cylinders... the viper will always come out on top.(lol) but honestly speaking though in the hands of the right driver, both cars would be deadly

z06 is the best bang for the buck

besides the surface and surface temp have a play in traction aswell as what rpm they launched these cars at ect.

The Video is Great but if the viper cant pull on the vette with 95 more HP than iam staying A GM man, dont be missunderstood i love vipers too but there is no way that the Z06 is that slow...Motor trend Has tested plenty of Z06's and the quickest its ever goten to 60 was in 3.4sec and the 1/4 mile 11.7 now other tests show the vette doin 0-60 in 3.5 and the 1/4 mile in 11.5 I own these magazines and ive got the proof the the Z06 is faster than what was shown in this test...since this test GM revised the rear end springs for better handiling look it up.

The editor said that the Viper is "large"?? The Viper and Z06 is only 1 inch longer than a Scion TC.

'Decripple', Of course these times aren't as fast as other tests, for both cars. When you say you have heard of the Z06 do 0-60 in 3.7 seconds, so what, that test was not conducted on this runway. The more and more they test these two cars, you'll see the results are the same.. The 08 SRT10 is tons faster than the Z06. And someone said they aren't professional drivers? Well what does that say about the Viper? Still pulling mid 3 seconds to 60 and 11.8 on a runway, driven by amateurs?? Or what, let me guess, the Viper was driven by Michael Schumacher and the Vette was driven by a journalist, which is why the Viper was so much faster.. Right? ..
