I didn't hold it at 7k the whole time, I just hit it for a second by accident. Hung around 6k. As for shifting into, second I just pushed the clutch in and power shifted FAST... no grinding. If your's is grinding and still under warranty, take it in. There are some TSB's about the synchronizers getting replaced with updated ones. But it's def the syncros.
