currently having a 370ci built for it (+24ci than before), w/ diamond pistons, callies rods, gmpp steel crank, slightly bigger cam, afr heads, +5psi more boost, and a 2nd stage of spray, also converting to a TH400 tranny w/ transbrake and a little more stall, also upgrading fuel system w/ 72# injectors, a 2nd pump & 1/2" line...... and when i get it back together i'm actually gonna get it dyno-tuned, hoping to make 650rwhp on blower and a little over 900rwhp on spray

you'd be amazed at what the LS motors will hold on stock bottomend..... seen several people running well over 200 shot with a progressive controller on all stock bottoms, i kept mine running rich and didnt run much timing

i have a powertrax locker in the rear, before the locker it was actually a handfull to launch cause it tried to jerk side-side....... far as the tranny, when i put the stall in i went back with full built race tranny..... before that it had bone stock tranny/conv. w/ LS1 @ 7psi and 75shot, done ok on motor, just a lilttle slip sometimes, but the spray was murder on it, it would slip so bad the bottle was useless...... mine came with 4.8 & 4L60, so since his started as 6.0 i would say its got a 4L65 so it should be ok at 400whp, but much more than that he'll prob. have to get one built.

sweet man. Yeah def a sick setup. Does it have any kinda limited slip or locked rear end? and is the tranny just the stock one built up or a full out aftermarket? just wonderin because my friends gettin an '06 sss soon and its probably gonna push around 400whp when hes done with the bpu's and a tune..but he doesnt know how well the tranny will hold up..but it comes with a factory limited slip

transfer case is close to 100#, also got front driveshaft + front axle, prob. close to another 100#, but the traction is well worth that extra 200# or so...... it's a 4wd, but drop it in 2wd to have some fun
