Don't worry bro. That car's engine was GREEN. You really shouldn't even run it that hard when it's that new. I have an '06 GTO, and i can say all you need is a Predator tuner to wake the car up from stock (it'll net you about 20 hp). These things have VERY conservative tunes and traction mgmt from the factory. I've ran three different SRT 4s and walked them all easily. I have a tune, CAI and a catback (maybe an additional 25-30 hp). Plus Turbos have an advantage here in the Mile High.

and in my case I lost so +1 to the SRT...

Just to clear any misunderstanding on this comment section of my video : Quixilver is a friend of mine which I work with. His car is fairly modified running high 12's w/o NOS on street tires. My car on the Day of this video was purchased only the day before so i wasn't even used to it really, (that explains the 1 st gear 30 MPH Roll) and I'm not even trying to make an excuse as to why he beat me, he did fair and square. It was BONE STOCK with less than 500 miles on the ODO. Took it to the track Bone stock, and the BEST time I got was a 13.2 @ 105. A better experienced driver drove it and shaved 2 tenths for me and trapped 2 MPH higher. I'm not a 'rice hater' or anything like that, ride what ya' brung, and respect comes with winning.

Nice runs. That's one nasty SRT-4. Not bad for a car whose engine has half the displacement, half as many cylinders, and a little more than half the horsepower (stock).
