the Ripshifter makes a huge difference in a M6. While I have never timed it..it feels like a 1- 1.5 seconds quicker in the 1/4. She just gets in her power band and flys. Good Lord I love this car! Took it to lower altitude this weekend..like sealevel vice 4500 ft. HOT DOGS!!! Not sure if the traction control re-learns but 1 and 2 just didn't wanna grab traction. But later on it throttled me back. Good thing too cuz I would have launched her sideways into the guard rail getting up to speed on the 215. Ex-wife was not pleased with my romping on the new toy but she would like to be with me on the track. Wish us luck in rehashing old things. Too much info. Anyway...my 2000 miles round trip this weekend just comfirmed what a rush this car is.

the drivers most likely. Like I stated above, and I have a few mods, I can stay side by side and maybe if I jump you stay ahead til about 110mph then you leave:-( Also depends on the roll, a slightly well thought modded STi in 3rd gear at 40 or so is pretty tough, but I a dont doubt you at all. The first year goat though sucked. The one with no scoops.

no i have raced 4 or 5 Sti's and Evo's with my goat and from a roll its like running a VW bug against a lambo their just not a run from a roll but from a dig its a good run but not if i got my cheater slicks on.

definatelt quick. but coming from a STi owner who likes racing the goats, it takes few mods to be side by side with you and if its a cool dry day (turbo loves that) we may take you. Thats a stcok goat though not a modded one. fast cars all in all.

I own a 06 GTO with a M6 and i have spanked 2 different STI's in town. And the 3rd STI i just screwed around with, after pulling almost a car on the 3rd STI before i shut it down, he still thought he could take me... i just laughed. The key to the GTO is getting the launching down on its independant rear end. Once you get that down, your racing greatly improves. I have noticed alot of people really suck at launching those GTO because of that IRS. When the LS2 GTO first came out, people couldn't get past the 13.0 second 1/4 mile, then after some practice they are putting down 12.7 1/4s. Some of the guys are boasting 12.5 bone stock, but i haven't seen it for my own eyes, so i take it for a grain of salt.
