I usually see most of those cars running a little slower than that while at the track. It all depends on who is driving them of course. I have found that the LS is usually underrated by the mag's and also by other people and even their owners who have not tracked them. I agree with what you say regarding the S2k probably taking a Gen2 LS with equal drivers both in stock form. It would be a race closer than most would think but I would bet that the Honda would edge the Lincoln out a little.

literature value is 14.3 seconds.. I consistently run a 14.2 with no mods... Check out my video of me running a ls from a roll and from a stop. Dont get me wrong. I like lincoln LS's. They are good looking cars and quick. I considered purchasing one before I got my lexus...I also raced a 07 s2k and we were dead even till about 80 then i started pulling him and did so slowly until about 110. When i let out it was about 2 cars or so...From my judgement, I would say that the s2k would take it if both drivers were good

dcz, the Gen 2 LS V8's usually run 14.6-14.8 stock with a competent driver. Still, I do agree that the other fella's comment you quoted to be a little bold. Still, it is all a drivers race and a Gen2 LS V8 compared to an S2000 is a drivers race. I still wouldn't say they "have no chance".

Yea I doubt that comment is true with the stock low 15 high 14 second quarter mile times...

In my LS's current form it has surprised stock C5 Corvette's, WS6 T/A's, GTO's (as seen), and more in a straight line from a dig and from a roll. If I were stock I obviously would not be so fortunate.

Hey jerkoff, that Nickelback music was playing in the background on the dra gstrip loudspeaker. You truly are a genius.

I call ALL cars that only are running 14's weak. In N/A form my LS is no different. I think 14's are weak. That is why I run nitrous on the LS and a blower plus many other power upgrades on my racetruck.

haha, no rock music eh? so i guess you don't consider the band hinder rock so you obviously know s**t about music, im finding this quite hilarious ac tually, as for putting that other guy in his place, he made no comments ab out his car being fast or anything like that, he said it was bone stock, y ou're obviously not that bright you just called your own car weak and your a hypocrite for saying you didn't use rock music, ahahahahaha this is hil arious keep going im getting a real kick out of this

oh and here is the video i am talking about btw, he said "that car is soooo slow i almost had time to listen to the entire song", the car w as a STOCK s2000 and ran 14.2 quicker then the time of his ls shown is thi s video
