Hey guys I drive a mustang but it's nothing compared to either a Skyline or a Cobra. I used to drive an 86 toyota corolla gts back in 94 before anybody was drifting and I loved the Skyline and the Supra. The race just came down to two fast cars, and one was faster. I can't beleive all the whining azz haters out there! Import or domestic, only one car can win a race so stop being a baby about it.

summer is not too far off I cant wait until you pull up to a new GTR(with competant driver of course)and he leaves you and your V8 behind and no matter how hard you mash down on the gas you cant keep up and than you look down at you Z06s instruments to find your doing 190mph and hes still pulling away(base model GTRs can do 197 again base model as in its meant to compete with C6 not Z06, their are much faster models available than GTR)You cant argue with facts and the fact is GTR has already smoked Vette their is no ifs,ands,or buts about it, its that simple you cant change what has already happened(I bet the ZR1 wishes it could have been faster but hey I guess Horsepower is no substitute for better engineering)

An R34 is not about straight line speeds but rather about running circuits,courses etc. And on a road coarse a Z06 gets beatan by Skyline everytime. The Vette has too much power and not enough balance to run the coarse with its competition in the end the only thing its really good for is straight line speed(even the new Sentra SE-R Vspec broke the Vettes Ring times,now thats embarrasing)So soon enough new GTR walking all over Vette will be an everyday thing(I mean if the ZR1 cant beat new GTR how the heII do you expects a Z06 to?)I do believe you on beating an R34 but its only a low 13 second car and again is meant for circuit racing not drag racing. You guys can cry all you want but the new GTR has already met the Z06 and the GTR won(TOP GEAR performed the test)

a GTR is a track car and on a track it owns Z06(even the base model NSX with only 270hp beats it)the new GTR does 0-60 in 3.2(same as ZR1,you know fastest stock vette available)problem is this is base model aka the slow one,the VSPEC will put out 100 more hp and will be geared more aggressivly.So if the ZR1 just barely competes with the basemodel GTR how do you expects to beat the VSPEC of new model,which will be much faster?New GTR is not Infinity either but Nissan and in initial test done in California by Nissan of America it Slaughtered both ZO6 and 911 turbo.

i dont understand why all the ricer boys get all but hurt when a skyline loses. The reality is that now that the GTR is coming to the US as an infiniti, Z06s and Cobras are gonna be walking all over them now that they're gonna be an everyday thing, its gonna be nothing special. Skylines are fast (espacially built ones just like any other car). But not that fast. In 2000 I raced a 1999 R34 GTR for $500. (my friends and i had heard all kinds of stories about these cars so we didnt want to get in over our heads so we kept the price reasonable) with my friend's at the time low 12 second grand national (i was just driving, the car wasnt mine) and beat it by 5 car lengths. After the race i asked him what work he had done to it and he said it was completely stock. I raced him here in Los Angeles on the street. He had Oregon plates and said he couldnt register the car in california and that he had paid over $80K to bring the car over. He just got me out of the hole. I was stalling up at 2 pounds of boost at the line and leaving hard total 14 pounds of boost (mild for a grand national) and he would jump out a car and a half and i was already around him before the 1/8th mile.

a gtr would leave a cobra in first gear period due to superior grip I would put money on that being a gts, plus where were the factroy GTR hids it looked to have the clear gts lamps no wonder he chose to use such a shitty camera.

No replacement for more horsepower!!!
