i didnt do anything to the blower. the 2.8 is no where near as loud as the old ones. as far as pullies, in this video it had a 4" upper and 8# lower.

How did you make the kennebell whine sound quiet but not to quiet. Or is the 2.8 just natually quieter than the preveous versions. I like that its not annoying loud like usual. what size pully is on there. Apretiate the response and answers thanks guys.

evo - lol. thanx bro. thats what im worried about actually. ive never been in a turbo car, so im worried about the lag, especially after being spoiled with the instant power from the twin screw blower. but i keep hearing , once the turbos spool, i wont mind, lol.

70 miles after the first install, the cam gear bolt wobbled loose and exploded inside the motor causeing alot of damage. the car was still being broken in, and was never revved above 2500 rpms. is a matter of fact , the cam gear exploded, inching along in NYC rush hour traffic. MMR "fixed" the motor and sent it back to me. roughly 400 miles later , the motor blew again. this time every single part in the motor was destroyed. after taking the the motor apart, the machine shop noticed that when MMR rebuilt the motor after it blew, they changed the bent valves, but left the old "egg shaped" valve guides. so needless to say , the car was just eating oil. after 400 miles, my 7 quart canton oil pan , only had about 2 1/2-3 quarts of oil in it. the funny part is a good friend of mine ordered literally the same exact motor from MMR , the same exact week. and the identical thing happened to him. 40 miles after install, idling in a parking lot the cam gear sheared off. then after being fixed by MMR, 300 miles later, the motor started making a ton of noise. when he pulled it apart, he found bent valves and bad valve guides in the motor. keep in mind, this car was never even dynoed or raced.

Absolutely awesome car! Good luck with the turbos, I bet you are going to miss the instant power of the supercharger. But once those turbos kick in its warp speed.

how do you know it was a bad engine build?

remnda - its a stroker 5.0. starts out as a stock 4.6, and gets stroked out. MMR built the motor , but i wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy. they screwed me bad. a fully built $10,000 motor blew twice on me within 500 miles. all due to bad engine building. willstang - it has MAC longtubes, prochamber, and magneflow catback. thanx guys for all the compliments. i appreciate it. right now the car is being built up again. brand new 5.1 aluminum stroker, with a THP 61mm twin turbo kit, FB 4r70w and a solid rear, along with alot of other sh-t. looking for around 1000 rwhp and low 9's. well see what happens.

needs wider tires or drs,byby to cars that spin
