You are dreaming if you think an intake and exhaust will make your truck 1 second faster in the 1/4 mile. A 100 shot of NOS wouldn't even make you 1 second faster, but you think an intake and exhaust, which are maybe adding 15 rwhp is? As for 15.9 in a CC Titan 4x4 - that is SLOW. And the guy had a Banks exhaust (again, adding AT MOST 10 rwhp).
That was a really slow run for that titan, pretty sure that Titan now does 14.9 with just CAI and exhaust. Stock for stock in 4-door and with 2wd or 4wd being the same the Titan will beat the Ram Hemi. It's been proven over and over again.
I wouldn't call the Titan slightly faster then the ford. The Ford with the 5.4 is so slow it can't get out of its own way. Other then the engine the Ford is a good truck well built and quiet but it wouldn't come close to b eating a Titan or a Hemi Ram. Those to trucks are pretty close power wise but the Ford is a slug.
Hey guys that was my Titan in the race. The Titan had a Banks exhaust, and Ram was a Cummins with a programmer, intake, stacks, and some small trans mission mod(?). He didn't want to tell me everything he had, but he did t ell me he was having the transmission rebuilt at 30k due to all the draggi ng he had done (every weekend). He was a really nice guy, didn't dog on t he Titan at all like you losers. That's the kind of Hemi owner I'm glad t o see. Since then, I've added an AFE intake to my truck. It also runs 14.9@91 now, my slips are posted on www.DragTimes.com. A similarly config ured Titan vs. Ram, the Titan will win most of the time. Of course you ca n get a RC SB Hemi Ram but that's not really fair to compare now is it? You guys are fighting over what's the "better" truck, well that 's just plain stupid. I'm happy with mine, that's why I bought it. I'm s ure the Ram boys are just as happy with theirs. -Cyrus
