Chevy has stronger engines? How many recalls for blown intake and head gaskets was there for Honda in the past 15 years or so. GM has had alot of engine problems

The only reason people hate cavaliers is that they fall apart very fast, at least if you leave them in stock trim. They have stronger engines than civics and integras stock, (2.2 or 2.4L), the only drawback is that the engines red line a lot sooner than the japanese engines from honda, which are capable of 7-8 grand, and still managing to hold together. Cavalier engines are also more prone to problems, especially at higher mileage, while the japanese engines seem to be in it for the long run.

well it says boosted 2.4 in the begining which should have been a gimmie. 2.4 eco never came in a j-body and the ecos that came i the j-bodies were only 2.2......but unless its motor swapped its an 2.4 twin cam.
