Would like to see more vids about engine mounting & drive gear. I see a couple of chains, but how do you drive the axles?

Better yet, I will show you how to build their own and give a list of supp liers. I lack the time right now to build the kits (full time job). If i t is still too technical I will find someone else to do the production so anyone can enjoy formula performance in a Fiat. et1eck@hotmail

More to follow.

I wanted to get something out there so anyone interested in such a modification could see how it can be done without des troying the interior, the look of the car or extreme modifications to the chassis. It's all "bolt in" and requires minimal trimming of sh eet metal, mainly the engine shrouding that can be easily replaced. The s ame modification could easily be performed to a 126 as they have much more room to work with.

Now for what the video does not show:

Ye s, it smokes (roasts) the tire (175/50-13) from a rolling start and just t apping the accelerator, only one hoked up for now. Yes it pulls violently under acceleration. It goes around 30 mph in f irst. Second to around 40. I am exercising caution as the car has drum brakes (adequate) and there ar e no straight roads here and I have not modified the suspension yet.

Not a bad modification for about 500 euro in parts.

A hopped up 126 engine will run you better than 2,000 euro for the engine (an opt imistic unreliable 50 horse) that will never have 6 sequential speeds. A modified 5 speed will run you another 2,500.

A modern 1000+ cc 15 0 hp+ motorcycle engine and 6 speed transmission on the other hand will o nly set you back around 1,500 euro maybe considerably less under the right circumstances. If that is not enough power, many large motorcycle engin es have turbo kits available.

Gear ratios can be changed in minutes . As you only have sprockets to swap. Try that with a differential.
< br>You can use any inline motorcycle engine available and make the car as scary or as drivable as you like.

That's it.
