Ahh, the Stang haters, gotta love em, always talkin their smackkeeps the Ford vs Chevy war going, ok so the Camaro lost...did he know he wasnt charged before he raced the Cobra? Problably so, thus he took a chance, he most likely had it in his mind that he'd dust the Cobra on pure cubes, didnt happen that way oh well. Even if it was a 4.6 vs a 5.7 race (stock for stock no blower) the Camaro would have beaten the SVT and then you would have been like "Mustangs and there pathetic 4.6", so either way in your eyes the Cobra is garbage, but remember this, if there hadnt ever been a Mustang, there never would have been a Camaro, Stangs lead the way, dont think so? Then why are they following fords lead and making a retro Camaro in 2009 along with Dodge? Stangs leading the way (again)! Not only that, there has never been a break in Mustangs production, been doing our thing since 1964/65. Thats why i have so much respect for the stang, its the cheap ass underdog underpowered pony car that whippin ass in the sales department where it matters and it does thus the reason theres a 2002-2008 mustang and lack of Camaro/Trans am clones for those years. I knew one of them would return and one wouldnt. Oh well round two begins in 2009, and the underpowered Stang will be waiting for GM to catch up (again). Took GM 6yrs to recover from the blow. DEAL WITH IT!

well cubic inches is still king and will always be its fact.now i will admit 4 and 6 bangers have come along way in street cars but at the end of the day the bigger engines prevail in all out race trim.so let the the guy in his little 4 pot honda have his fun on the street thats as far as he will get with it

supersnake, 13 for a nearly stock 346 (not 350) is pretty damn good. Actually low 13s is pretty good for any car out there.

Its no longer about cubis inches. Its about the technology or combo that you use. I say to heck with it, whoever gets down the track first. For a daily driver like I use mine, fuel economy comes into play. I like my 29mpg on the freeway with my ancient pushrod engine.
