For sure I owned a 2.0l 5speed golf mk4 and almost lost to a 96 1.6l sentra automatic. i lost to a civic ex and just about everybody I raced. Come to think of it i cant think of anybody i've beaten besides that sentra.

Man, that sucks. i had the same thing happen to me when i had my GLI. So i traded it for an Sti and solved that problem:)
