That was an incredibly even race till the viper hit the nitrous button. The way that zo6 took off 30mph, it took him not even 4 seconds to be well up over 100 so i think the z06 would of had a good chance of at least staying ahead of him if not beating him if the viper decided to not use nitrous. That viper was fast and all but corvettes are lighter and more aerodynamic and plus that thing has a procharger and probably has extensive engine mods so my guess is its running between 7 and 8 hundred horsepower, and ive never seen a vette pull that hard from 30 before.

Well, all the ranting and raving about SBC's N/A power cheerleaders almost never seem to amaze me when the excuses pour out like crazy. ANOTHER win for the Viper!!

Ill bet ya we already saw who won so it doesn't really matter that he sprayed. The guy in the Viper built a faster car than the guy in the Vette so he won.

Good race, just bolting on a supercharger on a viper can be almost +700hp. My buddy who did the heads on my viper has built several supercharged vipers and with his heads they can be 1000hp. Now I own a Corvette so I am also a Chevy fan. But it takes more to get the same hp. What ever the case this was an extremely fast ZO6 and I know of a guy who road races a +700hp ZO6.
