That's definitely compressor surge. That tial probably has a really heavy spring to handle the 40-50lbs pushing through that beast of a motor. So, at low boost levels, it probably surges. It's an all or nothing issue at that point. But since I highly doubt that car is daily driven on that setup, it's not that bad.

That's the nicest sounding engine i've heard in a long time. At idle, the sound a 2jz makes makes the hairs on your neck stand on end.

reminds me of the Walser Supra...but that one ran 9's like 5years ago...but I love that 2jz sound...and ur BOV is sick...
