Okay about the top gear comment....that is a fun show to watch, but by no means believe everything you hear there. The new corvette really isnt that bad on the street(no way near as bad as the late 80's vettes), and that viper may not handle as good as say that bmw(mainly because the bmw has around half the power..hahaha) but I'll guarantee you I would have a much bigger smile on my face thrashing gears in that viper than i would in that z4....and thats what really matters to most of us car guys. Oh and nice video by the way:)

Newer Vipers handle great despite what top gear thinks. I autocrossed a 2005 SRT-10 for a whole day and was very impressed. Even my older viper handles well with a good set of tires on it. Just the C6 Z06 really raised the bar. It is an amazing car that's for sure. The Viper has came back with the new 2008 600HP plus Viper. And I am sure we will see what the new ZR1 does and Viper ACR. Compitition is all good for us consumers.

look up viper vs bmw z4 by top gear, you'll see what i mean. i'm not sayin it doesn't handle well, just not supercar good. the vette does (although its a bit rough ride on the street)

I think people fail to realize how well vipers handle and people all too often get caught up with thinking the car is totally unbalanced because it has a 8+ liter V10 up front. Truth is it has always been a great handling car the fact that a 15 year old viper could stay relatively close to a C6 Z06 proves that. Plus it is noteworthy to mention that since their introduction the viper has pulled over 1 lateral G’s and since the 96 have been able to run the slalom at over 70 mph.

thats cause i didn't see it ;) lol, but really, the c6 z06 is an amazing track car, lightweight well-balanced and powerful. you have a viper, you know what it's like to man handle a car to make it corner (my cars the same way lol) vipers are mostly looks, and the straight line speed to show up smack talkers. it's impressive you kept that close to him!

Well...as the owner of the Z06...I would not call it modded. The car only has a K&N intake...nothing more. It does not even have a tune - it is just a strong car.
