And whoever said the tC does not share an AWD platform from a Japanese couterpart is Wrong. It does share the AWD platform found on the Toyota Avenis.

That's pretty cool, I never thought I would see a scion drift car, and still think its a bit weird.

Unfortunately for Sidewayzm3 and boosteddemon, they are wrong. cobraARGH is the only one who knows what he's talking about. Toyota simply sourced parts from the JDM models. For a better overview on the car go to: http://blog.cardomain.com/blog/2008/04/for-drift-use-o.html To see what the other two cars look like go to: http://www.channel4.com/4car/gl/toyota/avensis/1779/ or http://www.alltrac.net/caldina/ The Caldina has been in production for Toyota for a long time now. But to anyone who thinks Toyota actually developed all new platforms just to sell in America is crazy. That would be a complete waste of development money.

Its not a JZ, it's a 3S motor. And he's still a bit rough out there, but I imagine he'll improve as the season continues.

The scion has a JZ swap in it pushing well over 500 whp. I mean Ken Gushi used it for an event so its almost a budget less build. It's also on the cover of modified mag this month i think. But sorry cobraARGH the tc does not share any platforms with an awd car from japan. The conversion was a one off. sorry
