I love mustangs and always have. Ever since my dad drove me around in his 65 red convert. But I just don't get you guys hating on exotics?? It always comes down to money for you guys..."the mustang is cheaper" "the insurance is cheaper" and then you insult the owners by calling them all old farts... not cool.

I know a few guys who own exotics and they are anything but old farts. These guys are die hard car guys who have been successful in life and can afford expensive stuff. A couple of them even have old muscle cars. And they drive thier exotics every chance they get, they don't cover them up in a garage. So be a little more open minded when talking about the exotic car owners because I bet they are loving and appreciating all your cars even though they cost less. Money should not and does not come into the equation for us, it's just about the cars.

the LSx lineup is bullit proof. the trannys hold their own as well. I have a 04 goat and i would know that they will withstand the abuse.

i'm currently at 140k miles, cammed since 90k. and i've beat this car to death...only it's still running strong. most durable car i've ever owned. my point was that you will go through clutches fast with 4wd launches, end of story. and it ain't easy on the rest of the car either.

while I'd have to agree I see more STI break onb launch then evos but then there are people who don't check their car before they go to the track... and in my defense how many camaro motors and trannys have I seen blow up.. over 20-25... a crate 350 is a great motor don't get me wrong.. just not too durable
