Mellon, that isn't a good comparison to go on. RWD cars like that vette and GTO vary race to race, and vary a lot. The GTO could be a lot faster on the street, but the vette is faster at the track, and he just had a bad run. But I must warn you, if he makes 500WHP on that 150shot, and he swaps in a cam with exhaust, you're looking at a big increase in power. At least 50RWHP

there's a new Rsx in town, supposedly 500+fwhp, he said he wants to race and beat my evo or my stealth...I told him to send me a pm and we'll sort out the details..haven't heard anything yet but it should make for a good video.

didn't get to run the GTO but he ran a vette that went 11.11 @ 124 and lost. I ran the vette and won by 4 cars I've since install a ported intake and larger throttle body..I'm quite a bit faster than this video shows now. the video with the vette is on my site in mitsu section on www.racevideoforums.com if you want to see it.

I also installed a ported intake and larger throttle body this past weekend to help it breath better. the gto owner is installing headers and a cam so he said he'll run me from a dig at our next meet next weekend. The video will be up on RaceVideoForums first so keep an eye out for it.

The only reason I lost the first run to the GTO was because I was riding the rev limiter...this was my first outing with the new setup and the RPM's come up so fast that I wasn't ready for it. I learned from my mistakes on the 2nd run and didn't hit the rev limiter at all. The camera was at the finish line on the 2nd run...slow motion shows who was ahead of who and the gto driver even said he couldn't catch me until I let off, we were just locked. I've since raised the rev limiter form 8k to 8500 so I lessen the chance of accidentally hitting the limiter and nose diving anymore.

36bd9fbd, the GTO clearly lost the second race vs Mellon's EVO. You didn't see the launch because there was no launch. The GTO wouldn't go from a stop at all. He chose to go from a roll, he honked the horn 3 times and Mellon in the EVO obliged.
